Privacy policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This page describes PDF Reader Leaf's local document tools, optional diagnostics and this website's data use. Features and privacy controls may vary by installed app version. You can also read the app's published privacy policy and the data safety information on Google Play.
1. Who we are
PDF Reader Leaf is presented by Leaf Studio. For privacy questions, contact charlespro2222@gmail.com.
2. Your documents
The app's PDF reading and processing tools work on your device. Documents, images, passwords and recognized text are not uploaded to a processing server by these local tools. Outputs are saved locally. When you choose to share a document through Android's share menu, the receiving app or service handles the file under its own terms and privacy policy.
3. Optional analytics and crash reports
PDF Reader Leaf integrates Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. These are disabled by default and require an affirmative choice. Usage statistics and crash reporting have independent persistent switches in the app's privacy settings.
Custom events exclude document contents, file names, file paths, document passwords and OCR text. App error reporting is designed to send the exception type and stack rather than exception messages or Flutter diagnostics. When enabled, Firebase may process technical app and device information and app-instance identifiers. See Firebase's privacy information.
You can change your choice in the app's settings. Turning a switch off stops future collection by that feature; it does not automatically delete information previously sent to Firebase. Contact us with requests concerning previously collected information.
4. Permissions
File selection, camera access and photo selection support the actions you initiate, such as opening a PDF or scanning a page. Permission prompts may vary by Android version. You can manage granted permissions through Android settings.
5. This website
This website has no account system, document upload form, advertising scripts or visitor analytics scripts in its delivered code. The hosting provider and content delivery infrastructure may process ordinary request logs, including IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and request times, to serve and secure the website.
Downloading from Google Play and opening external links takes you to services with their own privacy policies. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. Please avoid including confidential documents or document passwords.
6. Retention and requests
Local files remain on your device until you remove them. Information sent in support emails may be retained as needed to address your request. For questions about access, correction or deletion of information shared with us, email the address above. We may need enough information to verify and handle your request.
7. Changes
We may update this page as the app and website change. The date above identifies this version.
